as well as an important recreational resource. A healthy aquatic system
supports a balanced ecology for our food supply and is a key indicator
of our ability to maintain a sustainable and quality environment for

At Water’s Edge, we look to nature to find solutions that can
help balance human activities with water resource protection. Through
our understanding of natural processes we have been able to develop and
successfully apply a number of new technologies to treat industrial
wastewater treatment, restore watersheds impacted by mine drainage and
acid rain, restore and create wetland habitat, stabilize eroded stream
channels, and manage stormwater.

Together, the founding principals Terry Rightnour and Kevin Hoover have
over 50 years of experience in the field of water resource management
specializing in consulting services for environmental compliance and
ecological restoration. Our services are provided to a wide range of
clients including: electric utility companies, mining operations, land
developers, governmental agencies, universities, private research
institutions, engineering and architectural firms, and nonprofit
corporations.
Our overall goal is to provide our clients sound advice and
practical solutions. While many of our projects have been recognized
