Watershed Planning and Restoration Services
|
Water’s Edge provides watershed planning for water resource protection and environmental restoration. Our services range from erosion control plans for small projects to the development of strategic restoration plans for large watersheds. Whatever the scale of the project, our emphasis is on developing environmentally sensitive and practical plans that enhance the overall value of water resources when completed.
We focus on the application of low impact designs that mimic natural hydrologic functions, protect water resources, maintain ecosystems, preserve the physical integrity of streams, and protect property values. These non-structural stormwater management practices can also be applied to existing runoff problems in developed areas by retrofitting landscapes with low impact features that retain runoff on site during storm events and slowly infiltrate or release the water following the storm.
Our watershed level water resource assessment and restoration plans provide a comprehensive assessment of water quality and hydrologic conditions to identify locations and opportunities to restore streams and enhance recreational opportunities and community values.
